This is incredible. Liberal blogger Alex Jones leads his fans in a chant for peace and love then turns around and bullies conservative pundit Michelle Malkin with chants of “Kill Michelle Malkin.” So I guess Jones thinks peace and love involves axes and machine guns.

You know, the irony here is that Michelle Malkin was absolutely wrong in defending internment. But Alex Jones, who is twice her physical size and probably weighs three times as much, adds nothing to the debate over citizen rights with these actions. In all of his correct assessment about her political philosophy, he does his own cause harm with these equally wrong actions that give more credence to Malkin’s worldview of solving violence with more violence.

Jones and his crew are verbally assaulting Malkin, which makes them criminals and thugs, and as the commentator at the end says, no police action. Incredible. It’s just absolutely incredible.

The news media has been all over the Jena 6 case from the outset and it seems they won’t be letting go of this story anytime soon. There are times when the news media does things right.

News media win suit to open Jena 6 case
By Howard Witt, Chicago Tribune

JENA, La. - A judge ruled Wednesday that the public and the news media should have full access to all legal proceedings involving Mychal Bell, one of the teenage defendants in the racially charged Jena 6 case in Louisiana whose prosecution had been shrouded in secrecy on orders of the trial judge.

Ruling in a lawsuit brought by the Chicago Tribune and joined by a coalition of major U.S. media companies, Rapides Parish District Judge Thomas Yeager ordered that Bell’s upcoming criminal trial, as well as any pretrial hearings, must be open to the press and the public. Yeager also ordered that the court record and transcripts of any closed proceedings held so far be made available to the news media, and that attorneys for Bell be released from the trial judge’s gag order directing them not to speak about the case.

“The right to an open trial is one that’s very important,” Yeager said in making his ruling, “so that the public has confidence in what we do.”

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Darrell Roberson came home from a card game late one night to find his wife rolling around with another man in a pickup truck in the driveway.

Caught in the act with her lover, Tracy Denise Roberson — thinking quickly, if not clearly — cried rape, authorities say. Her husband pulled a gun and killed the other man with a shot to the head.

On Thursday, a grand jury handed up a manslaughter indictment — against the wife, not the husband.

Talking about divine justice. This is just hard core evidence that the chemical impulse that causes men to kill men doesn’t justify the feminist argument that it’s all about the testosterone. Any woman so manipulative that she drives her man to murder on the basis of her bearing false witness should get the maximum punishment possible. Of course, this hasn’t gone to trial yet so the evidence hasn’t been heard by a jury. But I would love to be a member of the body that decides on this one. Estrogen makes some women do desparate things.
